The A3057 is an important local route for traffic heading north-west out of Southampton (although the M271 helps bypass some of the more congested parts) and then northward along the Test Valley.
The route starts on the A33 about 300 metres south-west of Southampton Central railway station, passing over the railway and then turning northwest to head along
Two very interesting meetings, but regrettably Salisbury is too far away to get there in the next 86 minutes (especially given conditions around here), and the CrossRail one is organised on the day of a train strike so I won't be in London tomorrow as I usually am on a Wednesday.DeptForLameExcuses wrote: ↑Tue Dec 13, 2022 13:39 Meetings, some more professional than others, for December 2022

Engineering: My unexpected love affair
Rob Bell, presenter of Britain's Greatest Bridges, is giving a biographical talk in Salisbury
Rob, in 2015, ran 7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 days. Many SABRE aficionados have eaten seven Marathons (Snickers) in 7 days, possibly from seven supermarkets.
Rob has made corporate films, or hosted corporate events for Freyssinet (known for their pre-stressed concrete), the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Structural Engineers and the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
He calls himself a 'thrillseeker'. You see him a lot at about 4pm on weekdays on the Quest freeview channel.
Organised by Salisbury IMechE, and Dorset and South Wiltshire IET
Salisbury Guildhall, 18.30
