I don't have a picture, but on the A14 between junctions 14 and 16 there's a "Max Speed 40mph" sign (not mandatory) followed about 200m later by a NSL/end-of-roadworks sign. That's been there for over a month without anyone trying to correct it.

Also the diversion contravenes the "ahead only" signs.
The road on the left is a one way street so turning left would pass no entry signs. However that road is Waterloo Street which is currently closed about 100 yds to the left so traffic needing to access the businesses can temporarily ignore the no entry signs so the diversion sign is legal.

In a written document normally, perhaps, but on signs this would not necessarily be used. Instead a line break and then a capital F, using block spacing as per TSM Ch 7 would be preferred.

I don't know if this has come up before. But surely this sign in Pier Road approaching the Woolwich Ferry is situated in the wrong place. Given that this is a two-way road at this point, isn't this just dangerous and inviting you to have a head-on with something coming round the corner from the north bound ferry. Alright if you know the road, but if not...

It needs a distance plate, or should be a fork sign. Either way that is a dangerous defect and should be reported.

Yes, terrible. We have far too many lane allocation signs that indicate lanes that haven't yet appeared on the ground - it's really unhelpful and, in cases like this, potentially dangerous.
