RAF Shawbury, Shropshire. Sadly the sign is gone -- I wonder what it was? -- but the circle atop, and the pole, look original.

I photographed that one back in February. I'm out the country just now but I'll try and remember to post my photo when I get home.

If that's a private road, it'll have hopefully survived.

There's another one nearby I took a photo of in 2007 and it's still there in the 2022 streetview image.

Here's a photo I took in June 2004 of another one nearby which is also appearing in a 2022 GSV image:

Sadly no, there were two on the road leading to Army firing ranges and by the time I went a few years ago both had been removed. They have been recorded on Geograph. https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2417986 https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2227553

That's new to the internet. If anyone gets a chance it needs a personal shot.

Using logical deduction a pre-Worboys 15 mph sign, hence the ring and new one, as they kept the ring.

Wow! :beer: :smokin: I have taken a picture as requested. It is too big for this thread so I've entered it in July's picture of the month.

One I put up on the socials yesterday:

https://maps.app.goo.gl/VQtLkQbJnRwApLtm7

Remembered seeing one with those destinations ages ago.
Hadn't seen it for ages, thought it had gone.

Was driving along there slower than I usually do, stopped in traffic, saw it there.

Probably already in this thread. It's still there, but looking a little worse for wear

NSL sign appears to have fallen off the back of the pre-Worboys 30 near Killearn revealing a pre-Worboys 40.

If you look closely at the bottom of the 30 side, you'll see some bolt-holes - I guess that must have been recycled from an urban area, where it would have been mounted on top of a pole (with both sides visible at the same time).

I was having a look at Google maps at the area around Tinsley, Sheffield and what's remaining for the former rail yard and TMD.
I nearly fell off my chair when i come across this rare 'Halt at Major road' pre worboys sign here https://www.google.com/maps/@53.3982088 ... ?entry=ttu especially showing in 2018. Sadly the last few years of GSV images it has vanished. Judging by the dodgy direction sign behind it could be a private road which is why it last so long. But i wonder where it went..

Since my local one at Pinewood went before I could get it that's the third known remaining but one is so rusty there's almost nothing left of it. I also missed the other one in Birmingham which only went fairly recently.

Apologies for not posting for a while, the site was erroneously blocked at my local library!
Following my sloppy gaff at putting Wheaton Aston into the wrong county I was banished to NE Scotland, where I had to endure several days of gorgeous scenery. Only a handful of pw signs were encountered, but interesting ones. The one at Kinloss survives, along with another close by;

Also surviving are the wonderful pair in Grantown (note River Spey sign too, which I think also counts), along with the Lay-by sign on the B9102 nearby;
