The new junction is complete and will be officially opened this weekend. This cyclops junction differs from the other ones so far in that part of the cycle track is two-way to allow a more direct route between some of the cycle paths.
So much safer for non motorised road users. I had the misfortune of trying to cross the old junction years ago while cycling along the Guild Wheel.

Super photo there. Another reason to visit Preston soon.

Video of it on YouTube in one direction.

Casino Manager: "It was a good night. Nothing Unusual."
Harold Shand: "Nothing unusual," he says! Eric's been blown to smithereens, Colin's been carved up, and I've got a bomb in me casino, and you say nothing unusual ?"

That'll be Jon-AutoShenanigans :)

He joined to respond to some posts about his videos, but wasn't previously a member - though I think he'd been a lurker for a while.

Why is one lane on the bridge pre-painted out? Seems a bit peculiar to not just have two lanes for that very short section, after all, if you've built the bridge for it, might as well use it...

The OS Landranger (online maps) show the new A582 from the M55 as Non Primary which is obviously incorrect.

Under construction roads are usually shown as a red dashed line aren't they? Or has Bing actually caught up now?

The road is shown completed in red (should be green).
