Completely off-topic, but zebra crossings onto the centre of a roundabout have to be fairly unusual!

It obviously wasn't originally built as a roundabout as we now know them - more like a 'circus', being in a residential area like that, with houses fronting it and having direct vehicular access onto it - and some of the roads leading into it are clearly not to your usual current roundabout design...
