Canadian change was early 1920s. I believe different Provinces did it at different times, and Quebec and Ontario had always driven on the right, which was not as much of an issue as it sounds, as there were no real cross-boundary roads at that time.

Cars would be a nuisance, both before and after, but a real issue was buses, which unlike tramcars in the street never had mirrored doors on both sides, and all needed to be replaced. 1923 in the Maritimes (Nova Scotia, New Bruswick, and PEI) was known as 'the year of the free beef' when they switched to driving on the right as the trained draught oxen could not be easily retrained to move to the right. Apart from Atlantic Canada, the only other province to drive on the left was British Columbia which switched at the same time. As effectively spin offs from Ontario and Quebec, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta were also always RHT.

Here is the Namibia-Angola border posts. Looking at the aerial view, it appears to me that there is not that much traffic through the border post and that the boom gate on the ANgolan side is sufficient to regulate driving on the left (Namibia) or the right (Angola). This border post is even quieter.
