Current Style Road Signs

Post by RoadCar »

Apologies if this has been posted before.

I was wondering if there are any original current style road signs still out there. Ones issued when Pre-Worboys signs were taken down.

Not sure how they could be identified. Though when your look at some of them they look like they have a good age to them.

There are still plenty of pre-Worboys signs still standing so there must be lots of the original post-Worboys out there, some of which must be in the Manky Signs thread, although it's probably difficult to pin down their exact age.

Added: I suppose they would be properly called '[Original] Worboys' not post-Worboys.

You mean like this? Note the thin white non-reflective bit. Not that the rest of it will be very reflective these days.

Patience is not a virtue - it's a concept invented by the dozy beggars who are unable to think quickly enough.
