A446 no longer a Primary Route

Post by roadphotos »

It looks like the A446 which runs alongside the M42 and M6 Toll east of Birmingham is no longer a Primary Route. The latest OS (online maps) show the road as a Non Primary Route (coloured red). Does anyone know for sure ?

The OS has shown it as such for quite some time, but it's not signed as non-primary on the ground.

Likewise the A452 between the A4041 and Brownhills.

I drive this practically every day of the week and the signs are all green.
How would you like your grade separations, Sir?
Big and complex.
