Diversions 2024

Post by SteveA30 »

A late start this year and a nice local one for a change, a short drive, park and take in the sights, Sat April 20. Old A35 Dorchester, bypassed in 1988, a weekend closure of most of the bypass. Still on now but quietening down.

Here is one I did earlier but now that the end is nigh at Chiv - Carland, here is Blackwater on Feb 9 2024. Only one more eastbound only div next Saturday but will ignore if it rains yet again......

Rowes and Starbucks (old LC) at Chiverton Cross old rbt. are now cut off from the A30 with a half mile deviation from the new GSJ. I wonder if they will last much longer......
