Brief A20 addenda

Post by Simon A6(M) »

One or two small comments on the account of the A20 completed in First 99:-

- the A20/A261 is not a totso for the A20: there's merely a sharp bend, with the A261 leaving to the right for Hythe.

- The A20 still crosses the M20 and goes through Cheriton (non-primary). At a set of lights it then bears sharp left up Cherry Garden Avenue, to rejoin the motorway: thus the A20 does two sides of a triangle, the M20 completing the third side.

- The new, last section of the A20 from here to Dover seems to be a "secret motorway": there's a big white sign giving the standard restrictions (animals, mopeds, etc.).

Best wishes - Simon
