Post by JonE »

Just driven the entire length of the M27 in Hampshire and noticed it's 27 miles long !!

Any spooky coincidences like this anywhere else ???

According to the data on Chris Marshall's site the M27 is only 26 miles long. There were no lengths spot on, but other near misses are the A32 (31 miles), A60 (61 miles), and the combined length of the M74 and A74(M)(75 miles).
No data was checked for A roads beyond A10 0. Although some3-digit roads may be in the 100 to 200 mile range, I doubt there are any in the A1xx group. 3d roads exceeding 200 miles are most unlikely.
