Description:The N53 between Annaghvacky and Hackballs Cross This straight stretch of road features what the Northern Ireland road authority signs term 'blind summits'. Blind summits are absent from the vocabulary of the Republic roads authority - it prefers to draw the motorists' attention to 'hidden dips'. The 'hidden dips' invariably occur either side of a 'blind summit'. Both are common place on roads in areas of drumlin topography
