Limerick Road Roundabout is the junction of the Roscrea bypass R445 and the R421 on the southwestern edge of Roscrea. All roads at the roundabout were once the N7 at one time or another, with the section between the roundabout and the centre of Roscrea being renumbered the R445 with the construction of the bypass.
In May 2010, Roscrea was bypassed again, this time by the M7, further to the south (as part of the Borris - Nenagh section. The N7 was rerouted, and the old route renumbered as the R445. The road between the roundabout and town centre was then renumbered as a southern extension of the R421.
