Phillipshill Roundabout, also known as Peel Park Roundabout lies on the A726 on the western edge of East Kilbride. It is a four arm roundabout with an east-west flyover, which is not necessarily catering for the main traffic flows. All four arms are dual carriageways with at least two approach and departure lanes, while the roundabout has up to three spiralled circulatory lanes.

The junction was heavily rebuilt in 2005 to accommodate the new Glasgow Southern Orbital (GSO) road, which leads off to the south west of the junction and ultimately connects to the M77. This was a largely new build road designed to complete the dual carriageway connection from the M8 around to the M77 across the southern side of Glasgow. Prior to its construction, the A726 continued west on what is now the A727, but the new road was given the A726 number, creating a TOTSO in the route. The fourth arm, Stewartfield Way to the north, has also had plans for being fully dualled over the years, although little progress has ever been made. If it were fully dualled, however, it would connect up with the spur of the A725 on the eastern side of the town, potentially creating a faster route across East Kilbride, avoiding the town centre area. In neither scenario, however, does the flyover as built accommodate the long distance traffic that the GSO was in part at least intended to carry.
