Druim na Sallie Bridge carries the A830 across the Fionn Lighe at Kinlocheil. The current bridge is a fairly ordinary concrete span, carrying a wide S2 road in a long sweeping bend. A short distance to the west lies a staggered crossroads, where the A861 turns left, and a driveway leads north to serve a couple of houses. These houses lie on the old line of the A830, and the old bridge still stands a little upstream from the new bridge, providing access to Glen Fionn Lighe and the forestry plantations in its upper reaches. This old bridge is almost certainly that built under the direction of Thomas Telford under his commission on Highland Roads and Bridges, when the original line of the Arisaig road was laid out in 1804/5. It is a single stone arch spanning the river, slightly humped and with parapets that curve down into the ground at either end - a characteristic of many of Telford's bridges.
