B5132
Sign on B5132 at SJ465715
This sign on the B5132 is intended to illustrate a reason why people may no longer understand the purpose of blue borders on signs.
Unfortunately, the people who designed the signs with black borders don't appear to know the significance of numbers such as 1/4.

A view looking north along the B5132 to the Foxcote pub, formerly known as The Railway Inn,reflecting the fact that there was a railway station very close by.

Sign at Cheshire Oaks Outlet Village mentioning A5517
The exit signposted as the A5517 is actually the B5132; I cannot find any mention of the A5517 anywhere else. Confusingly, the A5117 is very close by, but in the same direction as the M53! I suspect that the road on which the sign is located may be a private one belonging to the retail village.
