Originally uploaded to Coppermine on May 02, 2007 by AAndyDating from at least the 1960's, this is a good layout, designed for this specific location, rectangular, with straight sides on the east and west sides and easy wide exits. Unlike today's standard off the shelf products, identical in shape -circular- and, only varying in size, with tight deflections at exits, especially for lorries.

Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Apr 23, 2005 by Bryn666This junction by the inn used to be a totso for the A40, before it was rerouted to the north. Now it's a crossroads for the A477 and B4314. Note the curved pavement that cut the corner off a bit for primaeval A40 traffic.

As part of this the traffic lights at the junction of the A82 and A830 at Lochy Bridge have been replaced by a temporary mini-roundabout with a temporary Puffin crossing a short distance on the town side of the junction. Several bridges have been built as part of the track.

Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Aug 21, 2005 by TomThe Ely roundabout. The proper A327 branches off here to Farnborough, Aldershot and the M3 and surprise, London & Southampton M3 is signed this way. Follow this and you join Junction 4A and a fast route into the city.
So simple and prevents some poor Croatian getting stuck
Originally uploaded to Coppermine on Mar 24, 2009 by snowman is backThis is the next sign youll see London on if you travel the A30 (directing the A30). This sign is so out of date now, im surprised its not marked with roman numerals. It was placed after the roundabout was built and never changed. London and Staines should be directed up the M3 (as it was just 2 miles back). Farnham and Aldershot (A321) strange as the A321 stops north of the Meadows roundabout and has been the A331 for over 15 years. Motorway M3 if you want to use it.
Camberley A30 (M3) would do
