Tourists motoring past Tunnel Cottage or Long Tunnel Cottage, between Kenmare, Co. Kerry and Glengariff, Co. Cork.

This cottage was a well-known watering hole and stopping off point for tourists. Just along the road in front of this motor car (which we originally thought was reg. no. IC 2043, i.e. Carlow registered, but now think is LC 2043, i.e. English registered) is the long tunnel that gave the cottage its name. Hope that they're visible, but in the background are a lady and gentlemen cylist heading in the other directions, perhaps fortified by the refreshments on offer. Listed on the board are Mineral Waters; Ginger Beer; Ginger Ale; Lemonade; Soda and Milk. Wonder if there was anything stronger on offer?

Date: 1906/7
