A great choice at the end of the M271.

Redbridge Flyover, Southampton
Like its nearby sister flyover at Millbrook Roundabout, this carries the A33 out of the city to the West. Strangely, getting to the city centre from the main route into the city from the West (M271) involves avoiding the flyover completely and using the congested roundabout instead!!!

M27/M271 Freeflow

A very simple and effective way of solving the problem of queuing here. The cost is kept low by requiring only three bridges and the M271 to the north having no access to the M27
