Six Roads Ends is the junction of the A48 with various unclassified roads. Until 2007 the junction was the meeting place of six rural roads, with the A48 as the priority route. The junction was notoriously unsafe with extremely poor visibility on all approaches. A £1.7m scheme saw a new roundabout constructed just to the east of the original junction, opening in April 2007. This has greatly improved the safety of the junction.
