Ballycoshone Bridge is a triple span girder bridge carrying a minor unclassified road over the Upper Bann.
The historical assessment gives the following information about its history: A wooden bridge is marked at this location on the 1834 OS 6" map. It is captioned 'footbridge' on the 1859 map. The 1919 map shows a more substantial structure, probably a road bridge, than that shown on the 1902 map. The DOE Road Service records show its deck to be of reinforced concrete between two steel girders; it was cast in situ, curved corrugated iron being used as the formwork for its underside. The deck was replaced with the present one in 1990. [1].
