Just east of Braemar
The Devil's Elbow on an old alignment of the A93 in Gleann Beag near Glenshee Ski Centre, as seen in February 2008.
Looking round the lower hairpin bend.
Looking from the current road, where the upper of the two hairpins would have been, all that is left of the old road here is a dirt track as the new road has been built over it.
Looking down towards the lower hairpin.
Stunning scenery. The road leads off to the Devils Elbow. A bit of an old alignment can be seen on the left of the picture.
Stunning scenery. Note the snow poles.
I think this sign is aimed at motorcyclists
Nice old motor there too ;-)
This excellent example, with RAC logo, spotted in Blairgowrie on Sun 7th Sep 2008
