The South East Coastal Drive is a tourist route along the coast of Counties Waterford and Wexford.
The signed route begins at Cleary's Cross Roads, though the route itself nominally begins on the N25 north of Youghal. It takes the R673 through Ardmore and returns to the N25 on the R674. Where it goes between Curragh Cross and the R674 is unclear as there is no signage.
The route then takes the N25 to, and around, Dungarvan. At Coolagh Road Roundabout, we leave the N25 to take a short stretch of R911 to the R675. Other than a diversion closer to the coast through Stradbally, the route follows this road along the Copper Coast (now a UNESCO Geopark) to Tramore. At Tramore, the route takes the R685 to Leperstown, then an local road through Ballymacaw to Dunmore East. Here the route briefly uses the R684 before taking local roads to the R683 at Passage East, where the ferry to County Wexford. On the east side of Waterford Harbour, the route takes the R770 and R733 to Wellingtonbridge. A sign at Wexford states that the South East Coastal Drive officially ends at Duncannon Road Roundabout.
This route barely follows the coast, something which the Ring of Hook does instead.
