Route outline (key)
Power Station Road Hunterston Roundabout - Hawking Craig

North Ayrshire's Power Station Road road at Hunterston is 2.2 miles long and goes from Hunterston Roundabout and terminates at the car park opposite Hawking Craig and the Hunterston Pier.

The road was constructed in 1958 for the new Hunterston 'A' Power Station and now serves both 'A' and 'B' Power Stations. In 1999 the road was slighly realigned in that this road partly is used for accessing the former Oilrig Construction Site is now cut off by a gate used for the nuclear transport vehicles. The road then links onto Oilrig Road.

At the other side of the gate the Power Station Road continues to the end at Hawking Craig.
