Roughlands Roundabout lies to the east of Stenhousemuir in northern Falkirk and is the current junction between the B902 and B905, although in the past they met further west. The roundabout was built as part of the construction of New Carron Road, a relief road connecting the A88 to the north with Falkirk town centre. Although the central island is a circle, each of the four approaches turn in a similar manner, forming a junction which is almost square on plan. This means that each of the departure lanes leads off much straighter than is normally the case.

Prior to the construction of this roundabout, there were no roads here at all, and the B902 and B905 met over half a mile away to the south west in the centre of Stenhousemuir, running on very different routes to today.
