Caerwys junction is junction 31 of the A55. Located 3 km north of the Flintshire village of Caerwys and 1.5 km south-west of Lloc (part of the community of Holywell), it affords connections to three other roads – the A5026, A5151, and B5122 – each of which has this intersection as one of its end-points.
The junction is also sometimes referred to as Crossways; before the A55 here was dualled as part of the North Wales Expressway scheme, a Crossways Garage had stood in the SW angle of what had been a plain crossroads at this location. The site appears now to be that of the Dragon's Nest Café.
The junction was built as part of the Holywell bypass, opened in 1986, of which it is the western end.
