Brook Place Interchange is a junction in Runcorn. It was built as a standard diamond interchange but was modified when the Mersey Gateway Bridge was built. It is no longer possible to access the A533 in either direction from this junction but instead the slip roads lead to the junctions either side. These alterations were made to remove weaving which would become a problem now that traffic levels have increased on the Central Expressway.
