Junction 12 of the M56 is with the A557 to the south of Runcorn. The northern roundabout is called Rocksavage Roundabout and the southern one is called Clifton Roundabout.
As part of the Mersey Gateway Bridge works in the mid 2010s, the Rocksavage Roundabout was hamburgerised.
A railway line threads its way through the interchange on an impressive viaduct above the M56.
