Crookfur Interchange is junction 4 of the M77, and provides north facing slips only, connecting to the B7087. The reasons why there are no south facing slips are unclear, although the geography of the site, with the motorway crossing a shallow valley to the south, and a percieved lack of traffic to / from the south may have influenced the decision. The northbound onslip also provides access to the properties at Ryat Farm, meaning that the underpass is two-way, with a crossover layout for traffic exiting the farm. This lane then forms a right hand merge onto the M77 offslip. The B7087 is then dualled across an intermediate roundabout as far as the roundabout with the B769.
