From Holycross, this route followed the modern R661 and then the R601 to Tipperary. However from here it is not so clear where the route went, as it is shown as three straight lines, and the current roads in the area are all very crooked! The most likely route seems to be the windy R664 south from Tipperary to Newtown, and then heading west on the R664. However, at some point in then turned south once more, reaching the T50 (now R513) south of Anglesborough.
