Loddon Bridge Interchange was originally a trumpet to a roundabout on the A329 at Loddon Bridge. In the late 80s, it was radically overhauled: a new northwest-bound on-slip was constructed (and the nw-bound off-slip removed and replaced further east) making the junction a 5-ramp interchange, with 3 new roundabouts added to provide access to new development in the area. In 1997, the original northwest-bound on-slip was turned into a bus-only route serving a new Park and Ride site. At the same time, the A329(M) to the north was downgraded to A3290.
