The Penmaenpool Bridge is a wooden toll bridge in the Mawddach Estuary between Dolgellau and Barmouth in Merionethshire. It provides a shortcut for cars and cycles between the A493 and A496 without having to divert upstream to the A470.
There used to be a station at the bridge, which was on the Ruthin - Barmouth branch of the Great Western Railway. The line closed in the mid 1960s, and the station is now a nature reserve.
The toll is currently 60p each way for motor vehicles
