Tarff Bridge Junction lies at the western end of the multiplex between the A75 and the A762. It is located on the bypass of the small, scattered village of Tarff, which sits astride the River Tarff. A short distance to the west of the junction, the bypass crosses the river on a modern concrete bridge - for more details see High Bridge of Tarff. The junction itself is a wide T junction with road markings in place of traffic islands. This provides a short left turn lane into the A762, and a break in the centre line hatching gives a very narrow space for right turning traffic to stop, with just enough space for other traffic to pass with care. The lack of a full right turn lane on a relatively recently built bypass is a surprise. Before the bypass was built, the two routes met adjacent to the High Bridge in the village.
