The C17 curves around to the north of Alloa town centre. It starts on the A907, Stirling Road and heads north up Alexandra Drive and Victoria Street to reach the B9096. After a short dogleg to the right, the route continues north east along Henderson Drive. It then turns right onto Ashley Terrace and heads east to the B908, Sunnyside Road.
