With its origins dating back to 1902, Fairhurst, formerly WA Fairhurst, and incorporating FA MacDonald is a major engineering company based in Glasgow. Among other projects they had the contract for the Tay Road Bridge at Dundee and the Kingston Bridge on the M8 in Glasgow.
