Highland Roadtrip 2011

Following the success of the 2010 trip, a second trip happened in late May 2011.

The original plan had been to do much more walking than the previous trip, but the weather conspired against this, meaning only one walk was done - around Glenuig. All in all the trip covered about 1,200 miles and included diverse sights from the tedious B849 to the far more spectacular Bealach na Ba.

Highlights included Bryn's attempts to keep up with a BMW 3-series in a Citroen C4 Picasso, the incident-laden journey home for John and Kenny, and the battle to leech as much Wifi signal as possible at Sligachan whilst Matt vanished on a lengthy walk presumably to find something more interesting than Bryn's anecdotes about Blackburn and the train journey to Halifax.

Venison was not as easy to obtain as it was in 2010, much to James' dismay.
