Melkinthorpe or Clifton services are a proposed motorway service area on the M6 in Westmorland, to the south of Penrith.
Whilst the land in the area is laid out for services to be provided in both directions, and there is an underpass provided at this point, there are only ghost slips in the southbound direction.
