Approaching the A689
The B1276 is a short B-road running inland from the coast to the south of Hartlepool.
The route starts at a roundabout on the A689 in the Owton Manor area of town. From here it heads east, to the south of an industrial estate, before crossing the B1277 at a roundabout. The Durham Coast railway line is crossed soon afterwards, near Seaton Carew station, before the B1276 ends on the A178 on the sea front.
