Horsforth is the junction of the A65 the A6120 on the Leeds Outer Ring Road.
It was built in the 1930s as a T-junction with the western side of the ring road only. The eastern side, and a full roundabout, arrived soon after.
As is common with roundabouts of this era, it was built width with a small centre. There were up to four lanes on the approach and three lanes all the way around. It was later narrowed, and a filter lane was built in 2015.
