The imaginatively named Largs Roundabout is in Largs Town Centre near the station. It is a mini roundabout where unclassified roads meet the A78 trunk route. The layout of the roads means that there are technically 5 exits from the junction, although it can be easily argued that this figure is only really 4.
The A78 runs loosely east-west through the roundabout, as it turns inland through the town centre from a route which generally runs north-south along the Ayrshire coast. The 2-way Aitken Street heads north, whilst the narrow one-way Frazer Street heads north east. Through traffic has to make a tight right-angled turn into the equally narrow Morris Street to avoid the dead-end of Frazer Street, and as such the curious 'No Articulated Vehicles' roundel is sited at the roundabout exit. The fifth exit from the roundabout is onto Station Approach. However, this is really part of the same street as the westbound A78, segregated by pavements and bus stops to form a Taxi Rank at the station.
