The Ouse Motorway Bridge is part of the M62 Motorway in the East Riding of Yorkshire. It opened on 24 May 1976 as part of the section between J36 and J37. Its opening was slammed by the Humber Bridge Board as "nonsensical".
The 1.6km bridge has 28 piers and a maximum mid-span height of 30m.
The 208 bridge bearings were replaced during a two year maintenance programme, which included work to the bridge parapets, by a joint venture of Costain and Jacobs, Colas.
