Millhall Roundabout lies to the east of Stirling on the A91 eastern ring road which was built in the 1980s. It is where the older A905 route crosses the new road, albeit with the A905 realigned to the west of the junction. The roundabout is a simple four arm junction with the A91 running north-south and the A905 east-west. With the exception of the eastern arm of the A905, all the routes are signed as primary, although none are now trunk. It is not clear if this is due to a failure to replace the signs with non primary ones, or because the roads have remained primary, contrary to the once believed rule in Scotland where primary=trunk. This seems to no longer be the case elsewhere, however.
