Sideway Roundabout is the junction between the A50 Spur and the A500 in Stoke-on-Trent The route of the A50 has continued via Fenton but the above two roads are now the major route through Stoke-on-Trent and to the M6. A new roundabout was contructed to facilitate traffic on this major route, plugged in to the pre-existing trumpet junction with the A5006.
The A50 runs from Leicester to Warrington
The A500 runs from the Stoke area to Nantwich and is known as the 'D' road in Stoke.
