Templeton Roundabout is the junction of the A76 and the B7083 at the northern end of the Cumnock and Auchinleck bypass. The junction was built as part of the bypass in 1991 and is a three armed roundabout, with westbound A76 traffic getting an almost straight line across the south western side of the island, thanks to the geometry of the approach and exit lanes. All three arms have two approach lanes, and the A76 exit lanes are both wide enough for two lanes but were hatched down to a single lane many years ago. The B7083 follows the pre-bypass route of the A76 through the town.
