The B4007 was a short link road in Reading town centre. Owing to the road's short length its history is not fully known. However, it had certainly got its number by the 1950s and had been declassified by the 1980s.
The road started on the A329 Broad Street. It headed north along Queen Victoria Street and Station Road to reach the Southern station, then bore left to pass the General station and followed Tudor Road to end on the A4155 Caversham Road.
