Billingshurst is a town in Sussex. It acts as a de facto Primary Destination along the A272. It has two bypasses. The Western Bypass was built in the 1990s to allow the A29 to bypass the town, whilst the A272 relief road was completed in December 2020 to bypass the North Eastern quadrant of the town. Despite the A272 being the primary route, the North Western quadrant of the bypass is the the non-primary A29 resulting in an oddity where the primary route has a gap where it multiplexes.
