This article is about the Class III road numbered C1037 maintained by Westmorland and Furness Council.
For other roads numbered C1037, see C1037.
For other roads numbered C1037, see C1037.
The C1037 is one of several roads following the general A6/M6 corridor between Penrith and Carlisle. For most of the route, it is the closest all purpose road to the motorway, which is often within earshot or even sight. At its southernmost end, it bifurcates, with one branch going to M6 J41, and the other meeting the A6 at Stoneybeck Roundabout. The B5305 forms a slightly more direct connection between these two roundabouts.
At its northern end, it has an end-on connection with the same numbered road maintained by Cumberland Council.
