The C15 starts on the A78 at the Monkton Roundabout and heads south along Main Street into Monkton. This is the old line of the A78, and in the centre of town it meets the B739. Main Street continues south, and is now the old A77 route, which quickly comes to an end in an industrial area on the edge of Prestwick Airport.
