Auchinairn Roundabout is a five arm roundabout on the eastern side of Bishopbriggs. It connects the B812 with the towns relief road, the southern part of which might now be a re-routed B765, although signs do not reflect this. The roundabout seems to have been built in the early 2000s when Robroyston Road to the south was built, although Wester Lumloch Road to the north was only opened in c2014. The fifth arm, to the north west, serves a housing estate.
The relief road has been built to take traffic away from the A803 through the town centre and funnel it towards the motorways to the south, whilst also no doubt acting as a distributor route for the growing town, itself a northern suburb of Glasgow. The B765 to the south ultimately provides connections to the M80 at J2 and the M8 at J12.
