For the original junction 11, see Craigton Interchange.
Stepps Road Interchange is junction 11 of the M8, connecting the motorway with the dualled B765. It is a modified diamond layout, with the eastbound onslip folded inside the offslip. Both junctions are signalised to assist right turning traffic. The inside lane of the northbound B765 is a dedicated left turn lane for both parts of the junction, but heading south the outside lane can be used for right turns and continuing ahead. Both offslips have splits to separate left and right traffic, but the eastbound offslip allows the left lane to turn either way, with only a cars length separation around the island, while the westbound offslip has a dedicated lane for each direction. Unlike many of the other junctions on the M8 through Glasgow, J11 seems to remain relatively unchanged from when it first opened in 1979.
